I am Iolanda Leali, a professional tattoo artist since 2013, with Italian and Guinean roots (Guinea-Conakry). My journey has taken me across Europe, through studio work, creative encounters and the tattoo conventions I have attended.
After living in Paris for several years, I now regularly tattoo on Réunion Island. I welcome you in Saint-Leu, at Carry Graphik Tattoo, while continuing to work as a guest artist in studios across Europe.
My speciality is freehand: drawing directly on the skin to highlight the curves and individuality of every silhouette. My work is mainly in black and grey, bringing together flowing lines, ornaments, floral motifs and portraits.
A custom tattoo begins with a meeting. Your idea, the chosen placement and your body’s lines inform the composition. I guide you through this process with the experience I have gained throughout my practice.
